Panther Meadows

While visiting Mt. Shasta recently, I had a chance to create a small piece near a cascading

river in Panther Meadows.  I was captivated by this acid green moss that grows on particular

trees.  If there had been a few days to create, I would have covered the forest floor with a

larger piece.  It was the coolest botanical material. The moss becomes greener after it has

fallen from the trees.  The mountain peak is 14,000 ft. and the meadows are at 8,000.
